Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel your membership you must email memberships@tubers.uk by the 20th of the month prior to the month you wish to cancel. Any cancellation requests made after the 20th of the month will be unable to be processed until the following month.
Missed Sessions Policy
We are unable to offer make up sessions for missed sessions unless the session is cancelled by ourselves. We allow ONE month membership pause per year if your child is unable to attend for 2 or more sessions during a month. Your child will be unable to attend any session during a paused month or a rolling 4 week equivalent period. Please email memberships@tubers.uk for further information to put a pause in place.
Code of conduct for Members
Social network sites have clear rules about the content which can be posted on the site and provide robust mechanisms to report contact or activity which breaches this. As part of Tubers Academy Online Safety Policy, during time of accessing Tubers Community, we expect that all members treat each other with respect. Parents must also be responsible for ensuring that their child uses technology in a safe and secure way and that their child behaves responsibly when online.
The following guidelines have been drawn up for your own safety. You are encouraged to talk to a staff member if you are worried, uncomfortable or upset by something that may have happened to you online, or by something you yourself may have done.
- I will not give out personal information such as my home address, telephone number, password or any other personal information while online.
- I will not share my username and password with anyone else.
- I will not publish personal details or those of my fellow members without their permission.
- I will not retaliate or reply to offensive messages but instead will block or report them.
- I will only add people I know and trust to friends/follower lists and be cautious when speaking to someone who I only know online.
- I will not arrange to meet someone who I only know online without a parent / guardian being present.
- I understand that online contacts may lie about their identity. I know that information on the internet can be unreliable and I will be very cautious about who and what I believe.
- I am aware that those who seek to promote terrorism or religious extremism may attempt to contact or recruit young people via the internet.
- I will ensure that when using Tubers Community my privacy settings are set correctly.
- I understand that just as in the real world, things I do and say online have consequences.
- I understand that if anything makes me uncomfortable or worried, I can share this with a Tubers Staff or parent without being blamed.
Unacceptable behaviour
- Posting any inappropriate or offensive comments regarding other members, mentors or parents/carers.
- Uploading or sharing images and videos of other members and Mentors without their permission.
- Abusing or bullying others. To report abuse and inappropriate content on Tubers Community, please contact the site manager or speak directly to a member of staff.
- Directly contacting individual members of staff.
- Making racist, homophobic, transphobic or sexist comments including sexual innuendo.
- Login in as someone other than yourself.
Tubers Community Site Manager will stop anyone who behaves in any way that is abusive or threatening to staff and other members online.
Tubers Community Site Manager will write to anyone who has behaved in this way to warn them that the behaviour is not acceptable. We may choose to ban individuals from Tubers Community site after an incident or incidents. This may be a temporary measure, ora permanent one depending on the nature of the incident.
I, TUBERS Member, agree to follow the Tubers Community code of conduct and to follow any other rules deemed necessary for my safety and wellbeing. I understand that if I break any of these rules, sanctions may follow.
